IN HER OWN WORDS

Product is my passion because I love the diversity of hats a great product person wears – big thinker, market analyst, fierce competitor, product architect, customer champion, numbers cruncher, team cheerleader, and do-what-it-takes-to-get-it-done leader.

When building a world-class team, I look for smart analytical problem-solvers with superb communication skills, unstoppable passion, and the insight to know it takes a team to make great products.

The biggest discovery I have had in my career is the 6th “P” of building great products – people. Business school can teach you about pricing, promotion, product placement and positioning. Experience has taught me the number one ingredient to success is people: building teams with great people, finding what it takes to unlock individual excellence, and discovering the team dynamics that create magical team bonds that result in innovation and execution.
